MMO News is keeping an eye on PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) this week, and not just because it’s one of the few big expo’s that is still focused on its actual subject (looking in your direction, Comiccon). Biowarea and Lucasarts are reportedly going to be there offering attendees some hands-on time with The Old Republic, and teasing some new info reveals.
What has already been revealed, but bears repeating, is that the Republic troops are NOT clones. They are just normal troops. Just saying.

In just under a month, we’re gonna see the start of Season 4 of the series that is way, way better than I thought it would be, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. If you didn’t really care for those prequels (I think some people out there didn’t like the prequels), let me recommend this series emphatically. It has rescued the whole prequel era for many, many fans. The characters are much deeper, the action more exciting, and the pace much brisker than anything in the films. Watch this show.
The trailer gives us some good stuff. We see Dac–homeworld of Admiral Ackbar–for the first time onscreen, except maybe there was a level in like Rogue Squadron or one of the Rebel Assaults, or like Empire at War or one of the video games that may have featured Dac. Can’t remember and refuse to research. We also see Anakin get a bit more evil-ish, and we get some Mandalorian guys. All in all, pretty strong. Expect updates on this here on the Rawr!
